14 Jul £5,500 raised at Shooters Hill Charity Golf Day
84 players joined representatives of the Freddie Farmer Foundation charity at Shooters Hill Golf Club on July 8 for the 10th annual golf fundraiser.
The event raised a wonderful £5,500.
The day was supported by Dickie Russ from Coppards Removals who sponsored the nearest the pin and also donated two voucher prizes.
This year’s contest was won by the Lowood Larks team who received an engraved glassware prize from Freddie Farmer.
Organiser Danny Catchesides said how much he appreciated everyone taking part and supporting the day and thanked all the staff and members at Shooters Hill Golf Club.
He said: “This was the tenth year of the charity event and we are very grateful.
“We had a fantastic day.”
