08 Aug £6000 raised at Shooters Hill Charity Golf Day
108 golfers turned out in force to support the 12th annual Golf Day at Shooters Hill Golf Club on July 6, raising £6,000 for the Freddie Farmer Foundation.
The event supports the Freddie Farmer Foundation to continue its work offering specialist equipment and therapeutic exercises, supporting disabled children from all over London and the South-east.
Twenty-seven teams took to the fairways and enjoyed a competitive game of golf, followed by a fabulous hog roast, raffle and auction.
The winning team of four were Mick Burke, Greg Barton, Paul Wilis and Andrew Brazier from Lion Roars.
The date for next year’s annual Golf Day will be announced soon.
