04 Jul Beckenham School Raises £2866.61
St Christopher’s The Hall School has raised a fabulous £2866.61 for Freddie Farmer Foundation.
St Christopher’s The Hall School on Bromley Road, Beckenham has raised a whopping £2866.61 for Freddie Farmer Foundation.
Children, staff members, parents and carers raised the funds through various fundraising school events throughout the year including Carol service singing events and concerts, cake sales, car washes, quiz nights, matches, a ‘skipathon’ and a ‘wear your slippers to school’ day.
The school chose to support Freddie Farmer Foundation as their School Charity of the Year after hearing a beautiful presentation from pupils Bella Watson and her friend Lexi.
Bella’s younger brother Vinnie has cerebral palsy and comes to the Freddie Farmer Physiotherapy Centre to benefit from the intensive physiotherapy block therapy sessions we provide, saying: “Freddie Farmer Foundation is an amazing cause helping children like Vinnie to progress over the years.”
Please listen to Bella and Lexi to find out what we have managed to raise for The Freddie Farmer Foundation. We are so grateful to you all, thank you. #scth pic.twitter.com/1aOimIpbk0

Charity Centre Manager Karen Smith said: “We’re over the moon and we can’t thank Bella, Lexi, the children, staff members, parents and carers from St Christopher’s The Hall School enough.
We received the funds at a school assembly last week and we’ll use the money to continue our work supporting disabled children in Bromley. Thank you so much.”
