Charity Football Match at Bromley FC

A charity football match to help the Freddie Farmer Foundation is being held at Bromley Football Club on Saturday 26th May, kick off at 3pm.

The Friends XI vs Crystal Palace fans match is being organised by 22-year-old Tom Henderson and 21-year-old Sean Feeney from Caterham who have hosted charity football matches before at Whyteleafe Football Club in Surrey to raise money for Action for Children, Brain Tumour Charity and Scarlett’s Walk. Tom started it as a project at university and it’s grown from there.

“Everyone enjoyed themselves so much at the initial matches that we thought it would be awesome to have another one the following year, we’re aiming to hit even bigger heights,” said Tom, who heard about the Freddie Farmer Foundation from Red and Blue Crystal Palace News.

“We prefer raising money for charities that help young children as we believe they deserve a good and better life,” said Tom.

To raise the funds each player pays £30 and spectators pay £2.
