22 Sep Charity Golf Day raises £9500
On 20 September 2019, Freddie Farmer Foundation hosted its annual charity golf day at Sundridge Park Golf Club in Bromley to raise funds for the charity.
Now running for over ten years, the golf day at its new home of Sundridge Park was an overwhelming success.
The fun atmosphere saw players competing for trophies and the many auction items that were up for grabs.
Charity founder and trustee Danny Catchesides thanked everyone for coming and said that the golf day was a highlight in the charity’s fundraising calendar.
92 golfers took to the fairways to enjoy a competitive round of golf, joined by members of the Irish Guards, followed by live music from singer Andy Robinson, and a fantastic auction, conducted by charity auctioneer Adger Brown.
The winning team was Bucket and 3 Mops captained by Mick McCarthy and teammates Nick McCormack, Nick Richards and Luke McCarthy.
Next year’s annual Golf Day at Sundridge Park Golf Club will be held on Friday 4 September.
Full details and booking to be announced soon.
