3 Year Corporate Partnership Announcement

AEGIS London has appointed Freddie Farmer Foundation as its new corporate charity partner.

The partnership, which will run for three years, will see the underwriting business which trades in the Lloyd’s of London market pledge £45,000 over 3 years to the charity.

It follows a nomination from AEGIS London employee, Barry Plummer, who put the charity forward for the company’s three-yearly Corporate Charity Vote.

Every three years, AEGIS London votes for a charity to partner with and it’s thanks to Barry’s nomination that this partnership came about – we are over the moon that they chose Freddie Farmer Foundation!

“The unsuccessful nominees will benefit from a smaller one-off donation too, so it’s a worthwhile exercise for all involved,” said Benjamin Lockwood, Chair of the Charity Committee at AEGIS London.

Karen Smith, Freddie Farmer Foundation’s Charity Centre Manager, said she is ‘delighted’ that the charity was chosen to be AEGIS London’s charity partner.

“This long-term partnership will have a huge impact on our work, she said.”

“We are a small charity that aims to make a big difference to the families we support, and all money raised will go directly to doing this.”

Based in Bromley, Freddie Farmer Foundation provides high quality specialised physiotherapy and support services for children with cerebral palsy and mobility problems, as well as providing support for their families and carers.
