Celebrating 10 Successful Years

This year sees the Freddie Farmer Physiotherapy Centre celebrate its 10th birthday!

Over the past 10 years, Freddie Farmer Physiotherapy Centre has grown into a state-of-the-art physiotherapy centre, supporting disabled children.

Founded in 2015 in Bromley, Kent, the Freddie Farmer Physiotherapy Centre is committed to providing intensive physiotherapy programmes for children aged 3-16 years with cerebral palsy and mobility challenges.

Inspired by Freddie Farmer, who was born prematurely at 28 weeks, weighing just 2 lbs 12 oz and later diagnosed with cerebral palsy, the Freddie Farmer Physiotherapy Centre emerged from the need for frequent, specialised therapy.

Recognising the limited options for local treatment, Freddie’s grandad, along with family and friends, set up the Freddie Farmer Foundation charity and embarked on a mission to raise £350,000, leading to the creation of the Freddie Farmer Physiotherapy Centre in South East England and have been supporting families with subsidised physiotherapy support services ever since.

The foundation welcomes children with various physical disabilities and backgrounds, offering advanced paediatric physical therapy that utilises specialised equipment and innovative therapeutic techniques inspired by methods developed in Poland.

Freddie Farmer Foundation are proud of their record supporting disabled children. Last year alone we saw 37 children who had one or more 1 week block sessions of physiotherapy, which equates to 1042 hours of therapy.

For new families, we provide an initial assessment with one of our physiotherapists *free of charge (*subject to pre-assessment criteria).
