13 Sep Golfers come to the fore for Freddie
A CHARITY golf day at Sundridge Park Golf Club, Bromley on Friday, September 9 has raised a phenomenal £8,800 for the Freddie Farmer Foundation.
A total 92 golfers put their golf skills to the test at the Freddie Farmer Foundation Charity Golf Day.
The day was organised by charity trustee and founder Danny Catchesides, who said: “We had a fantastic day and we are very grateful.”
The winning team was Super Roofers, with a team score of 54.1 points.
The event finished with a charity auction, raffle and live music.
Karen Smith, the charity’s Centre Manager, said: “We received a lot of positive comments about the day with many people saying it was the best Charity Golf Day ever!
“Thanks to everyone who came along and supported the Foundation in our efforts to provide ongoing physiotherapy and spider cage therapy to children with cerebral palsy .”
The next fundraising event at Sundridge Park Golf Club in Bromley for Freddie Farmer Foundation will be a Charity Dinner on Friday October 14.
